Built for the work you keep track of.
Land & Herd is independent software for ranches, farms and homesteads. We're welcoming our first users and building around the work they need to get done.
What to expect as an early user
Land & Herd is new. We're welcoming the first ranches and homesteads, so you may encounter rough edges as the product develops. Your feedback helps set priorities.
The free plan needs no card and has no time limit. You can download your records as spreadsheets, PDFs or a whole-ranch ZIP on every plan. Compare the plans →
Who builds it
A small, independent team. [email protected] reaches the people building the product. Send a question, report a problem or tell us what would make your day easier.
What it is
One app that holds the whole operation: the ground and what's drawn on it, the animals, what they've been bred to and treated with, the work that needs doing, what the place produced, what's in the feed room, which paddock has had its rest, what the machinery is owed, and where the money went. Choose which tools appear in your sidebar.
It's a hosted product. You sign up at app.landandherd.com and use it in a browser; there's nothing to install and nothing to maintain.
What we're trying to get right
- Calm over dense. Software you'll still be opening in March, not the one with the most fields.
- Only as big as your place. Hide tools you don’t need from the sidebar.
- Nothing written without you. Every AI action is proposed and waits for your confirmation.
- Real screenshots. Every image on this site is the actual app with example records in it — never a mockup.
Access and availability
The web app runs in your browser and needs an internet connection. We host it for you; there is no self-hosted edition or personal AI key to configure. Contact us for current native app availability, including supported tools and offline access in the available build.
Read the FAQ for details about pricing, exports, crew access and Farm Hand.
Getting in touch
[email protected] reaches a person. Bug reports, a feature your operation needs, a claim on this site that doesn't match what the app actually does, or a request for your data — all the same address.
